ALICE General Assembly and Conference

ALICE invites you to participate in the Conference: "Design Future Logistics". What will the Supply Chain and the Logistics of the future look like? A number of outstanding keynote speakers will present their vision.
Research area:

ALICE - Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe was launched on the 11th of June 2013 with the support of European Commission DG MOVE and DG RESEARCH and recognized as an official European Technology Platform by the European Commission in July 2013*. ALICE has been set-up to develop a comprehensive strategy for research, innovation and market deployment of logistics and supply chain management in Europe with the mission: “to contribute to a 30% improvement of end to end logistics performance by 2030”.

ALICE set a clear mark on the Horizon 2020 Transport Work Programmes 2014-2015. During 2014 developed research and innovation roadmaps on all major logistics themes, which in turn will serve as a basis also for Work Programmes 2016-2017 recommendations.

ALICE invites you to participate in the Conference: “Design Future Logistics”. What will the Supply Chain and the Logistics of the future look like?

 A number of outstanding keynote speakers will present their vision which is reflected in ALICE roadmaps. Join them in the discussion!

 This Conference and General Assembly is hosted and supported by Schiphol Cargo at the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Program General Assembly and Conference:

10 February 19.00 – 21.30 Diner Boat Tour Amsterdam

The ALICE members that arrive on the day before the conference, the Conference Speakers and the Executive Group of ALICE, we welcome at our Diner Boat Tour on the beautiful canals of Amsterdam. The tour will start near the Central Station of Amsterdam. The space is limited so be early to register.

11 February

07.00 Bus to Flower Auction will leave from Schiphol Airport Arrival Hall.

07.30 – 10.00 Visit to Flower Auction Aalsmeer with a presentation on the development of the Digital Marketplace. You will see and experience the biggest trading place for flowers and plants in the world. It will be exciting just before Valentine’s Day. The number of participants is limited to 50, so be the first to register.

10.00 – 10.30 Welcome and coffee for the participants to the General Assembly of ALICE, at the Auditorium of the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Group ( see annex how to reach Schiphol Group Headquarters)

10.30 – 11.15 General Assembly ALICE, only for members and candidate-members.

11.00 – 11.30 Welcome and coffee for the participants to the Conference
