International experts analyse new packaging challenges from export to e-Commerce

Transportation by drone, analysis of transport of museum objects, challenges on e-Commerce food distribution and the simulation of products distribution real cycle in the lab, will be some of the highlighted Symposium topics.

After the success of previous editions, ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) and ITENE (Packaging, Transport and Logistics Reseach Center) present the 6th ISTA European Packaging Symposium to be held from 7 to 9 of March at ITENE’s facilities in Valencia, Spain. The event is supported by DS Smith Tecnicarton, as the main sponsor, and Sealed Air.

It’s the biggest European forum about transport packaging that will bring together about 100 professionals from packaging, transport, consumer goods industry, retail sector, computer electronics, audio and video equipment manufacturers, among others.

This edition will explore the latest packaging developments and test techniques to assess fitness for distribution, focusing on cost saving against sustainability requirements. 

The tagline of the event will be ‘Changing Challenges of Transport Packaging – from Export to e-Commerce Fulfilment’ and the transportation by drone, the analysis of transport of museum objects, the challenges on e-Commerce food distribution and the simulation of products distribution real cycle in the lab, will be some of the highlighted Symposium topics presented by speakers from leader organizations.
